Let's Build an Honest City

From secretive deals to public trust, help us open the doors of government to everyone

Who we are

We are a political action group comprised of residents of Fullerton who believe local government should serve the people, not special interests. Frustrated by backroom deals, unchecked donor influence, and a lack of accountability, we formed this PAC to shine a light on what’s really happening at City Hall. Our mission is simple: expose unethical behavior, educate the public, and restore trust in local leadership.

What we do

We track votes, follow the money, and investigate conflicts of interest. From filing public records requests to speaking at council meetings, we hold officials accountable when they undermine public trust. We also support candidates and policies that prioritize openness, fairness, and ethical governance in Fullerton.

Why we do it

Fullerton, like most cities, has low participation in local politics. This creates an environment where unaccountable officials can operate unchecked. Fullerton needs dedicated groups that monitor our government, inform the public, and financially support transparent candidates.

Government for the People, Not the Powerful

For decades, Fullerton's government has been infiltrated by political donors who answer to no one. We're fighting to end this. Our mission is simple: reform the government to answer to the people, not special interests.

Our Purpose

We believe local government should work for the public, not private interests. Our mission is to hold elected officials accountable, expose unethical behavior, and ensure transparency in City Hall. By empowering Fullerton residents with information, we aim to restore integrity to local leadership.

Our Story

Our group was founded out of concern over backroom deals, unreported conflicts of interest, and a lack of public oversight in Fullerton. As residents, we saw the need for a watchdog focused solely on public interest, not political convenience. That’s how Fullerton Transparency was born.

Our Values

  • Public Accountability

  • Transparent Decision-Making

  • Community-Focused Governance

  • Independent Oversight

What We Do

We monitor council actions, file public records requests, analyze campaign finance data, and equip residents with the information they need to act.

Fullerton Deserves Better

Local government should serve the public with transparency, fairness, and accountability. But in Fullerton, that ideal is too often replaced by backroom negotiations, political favoritism, and decisions made without real public input. We believe residents deserve better than that.

What Local Government Should Be

  • Transparent about how decisions are made

  • Accountable to the people, not political donors

  • Focused on long-term public good, not short-term gain

  • Welcoming to public input and scrutiny

What We Often See Instead

  • Closed-session deals that benefit connected individuals

  • Votes that reflect campaign contributions, not public interest

  • A lack of oversight, even when conflicts of interest are obvious

  • Public meetings that are hard to follow, harder to act on

This Isn't How It Has to Be

We don’t accept that this is “just how politics works.” Fullerton has the talent, values, and energy to build a local government that actually reflects its people. We started this project because we know change doesn’t come from passively hoping for better leaders; it comes from building systems that make accountability unavoidable.

Government doesn’t change until people demand it. We’re here to make that demand impossible to ignore.
